Depuis peu, Veeam a mit \u00e0 disposition sur le portail ProPartner un Sizing Tool<\/a> qui vient compl\u00e9ter les fameux Restore Point Simulator<\/a> et Copy Data.<\/a><\/p>\n

Bien que th\u00e9orique, ces trois outils vous permettent d’avoir une id\u00e9e sur le dimensionnement d’une infrastructure Veeam Backup & Replication donc si vous n’avez pas de compte ProPartner, c’est l’heure d’en cr\u00e9er un \ud83d\ude09 !<\/p>\n

Sizing Tool<\/h2>\n

Assez facile \u00e0 remplir mais attention \u00e0 ne pas tout prendre pour acquis<\/strong>. Voici quelques guidelines :<\/p>\n

  1. Lisez le \u00ab\u00a0sizing tool guide\u00a0\u00bb, il ne fait que 4 pages !<\/li>\n
  2. Utiliser l’onglet \u00ab\u00a0detailed sizing\u00a0\u00bb et bien comprendre les diff\u00e9rents r\u00f4les propos\u00e9s<\/li>\n
  3. Les calcules sont fait pour des sauvegardes incr\u00e9mentales avec 7% de taux de changement<\/strong>, attention si vous faites des actives fulls le weekend ou plein de BI<\/li>\n
  4. Les ressources propos\u00e9es sont MINIMAL<\/strong> et n’inclut pas les ressources n\u00e9cessaires pour l’OS<\/li>\n
  5. L’infrastructure propos\u00e9e est MINIMAL<\/strong> : Backup puis copy\/tiering vers object storage donc rajouter des ressources pour les backup copy job, transaction log, replication et j’en passe !<\/li>\n
  6. Les valeurs sont \u00ab\u00a0raw\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e0 vous des les arrondir<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Par exemple, ci-dessous pour une infrastructure 50TB, 200 VMs, 8 heures de backup windows, des BDD en log shipping et des BCJ sur un autre serveur. En rouge mes remarques :<\/p>\n
